Nutritional Value of Roasted Almonds

Roasted almonds are a great food. They are an easy healthy snack to always have nearby.

Almonds are very high in minerals like Manganese, Magnesium, Copper, Phosphorus, Iron, Zinc and Potassium. It also contains a fair amount of Selenium as well.

Eating one almond, whether roasted or unroasted, will add seven calories to your diet. Most of this comes from monounsaturated fat (the good kind).

The vitamin content of almonds is also quite high, especially in Vitamin E and Riboflavin.

For those of you want to know more of the specific nutritional facts, here is are two nutrition charts for salted roasted almonds. Just ignore the sodium if you are eating them unsalted, because almonds have no salt if it is not added artificially. Some of the numbers might be slightly different, that’s why I included two charts.
